Why preserved

A considered answer to a practical brief.

New buildings rarely have anyone on hand to water a plant. Sales galleries sit empty between viewings, model residences wait months for buyers, and amenity floors open before the building fills. Live plants struggle in that setting, and faux greenery cheapens a launch. Preserved botanicals stay natural through sales, completion, and lease-up: real plants and flowers that keep their look for years with no watering, irrigation, or routine care, and no soil to manage.

02 — Development delivery

Timed to the project — from sales launch to completion.

Nordblooms works with developers, architects, interior designers, general contractors, and sales and marketing teams. We coordinate the botanical layer around construction phasing, finishes, furnishings, and access, in one building or across several. A single Nordblooms team designs, builds, and installs, whether the work is made in our SoHo studio or directly on site, giving your project one point of contact from the first site visit through completion.

  1. 01

    Review the development

We review plans, unit and amenity layouts, sightlines, buyer and resident routes, and the spaces where botanical impact matters most.

  2. 02

    Coordinate with the design

We develop the botanical scope alongside architecture, millwork, furniture, lighting, signage, finishes, and the wider interior concept.

  3. 03

    Plan around construction

We assess delivery access, construction phasing, punch-list timing, and installation windows with the general contractor and the relevant project partners, so the botanical work goes in when the space is ready.

  4. 04

    Deliver a lasting result

Preserved botanicals need no watering or routine care, so installations stay in place through sales, completion, and lease-up without adding to your management team’s workload.

Development project questions

For the development team.

These questions address new development planning. Detailed material, care, and sizing information belongs on the relevant product pages.

Can installations stay in place while units are still unsold or unoccupied?

Yes. Preserved botanicals need no watering, irrigation, or sunlight, so nobody has to be on site to care for them in a sales gallery, model residence, or vacant amenity floor.

Can installation be timed to construction and completion?

Yes. Scheduling is assessed around construction phasing, access, punch-list timing, and installation requirements, and coordinated early with the general contractor and the relevant project partners.

Can you design for model residences and sales galleries?

Yes. Trees, planters, and floral arrangements can be designed around the interior concept of a model residence or sales gallery and installed ready for viewings.

What do you need for a preliminary budget?

Send floor plans or renderings, development location, target dates, approximate dimensions, intended spaces, and inspiration images.

How long will the installation last?

Florals last one to three years, planters up to three years, trees up to five years, and green walls five to ten years, when kept indoors in suitable conditions.
