Why preserved
On board, fresh flowers mean weekly runs, provisioning in remote ports, and arrangements that wilt before the guests arrive. Live plants need water, light, and care that a working vessel cannot spare, and faux greenery looks out of place on a yacht built around craftsmanship. Preserved botanicals answer all three: real plants and flowers that keep their natural look with no watering, irrigation, or routine care, soil-free and pollen-free.
Salons, dining areas, and cabins that need to look perfect for every trip
Charter and owner turnarounds with no time for last-minute flower runs
Interiors with limited natural light and no practical way to water and tend live plants
Custom installations designed around the vessel’s interior design and finishes
01 — Spaces
Every Layer, One Studio
Turn a salon wall, staircase, or foyer into a signature moment with single moss, mixed moss, or full foliage, custom-fitted to the vessel’s interior.
Sculptural trees give large salons, atriums, and sky lounges height and presence, with no shedding and no growth to manage.
Foliage planters curated to the vessel’s palette, dressing salons, dining areas, and corridors.
Real flowers, preserved to stay fresh with no watering or upkeep, for salon tables, dining, cabins, and deck lounges in season.
02 — Yacht delivery
Nordblooms works with owners, captains, chief stews, yacht managers, interior designers, and shipyards. We coordinate the botanical layer around the vessel’s interior design, build or refit schedule, port access, and charter calendar. A single Nordblooms team designs, builds, and installs, whether the work is made in our SoHo studio or directly on board, giving your project one point of contact from the first walkthrough through completion.
We review general arrangement plans, interior design, sightlines, guest routes, and the spaces where botanical impact matters most.
We develop the botanical scope alongside the interior design, furniture, lighting, finishes, and existing onboard décor.
We assess port access, delivery logistics, build or refit timelines, and the charter calendar with the captain, yacht manager, and relevant project partners.
Preserved botanicals need no watering or routine care, so the vessel looks finished on day one and stays that way without watering or weekly flower runs to arrange.

These questions address yacht project planning. Detailed material, care, and sizing information belongs on the relevant product pages.
Yes, for the season. Outdoor use shortens the life of preserved flowers to around one season, and they should be brought inside at night and in bad weather. Trees, planters, and green walls are designed for interior spaces.
Yes. Scheduling is assessed around port access, delivery logistics, build or refit timelines, and the charter calendar, and coordinated early with the captain, yacht manager, and relevant project partners.
Preserved botanicals need no watering, irrigation, or sunlight, and they perform best in climate-controlled interiors between 60°F and 80°F with humidity between 30% and 70%, away from direct sun and heat sources. Nordblooms will advise on appropriate placement for the vessel’s conditions.
Send general arrangement plans or renderings, vessel name and length, target dates, approximate dimensions, intended spaces, and inspiration images.
Florals last from about five months to a year: up to a year indoors and around one season when used on deck. Planters last up to three years, trees up to five years, and green walls five to ten years, when kept indoors in climate-controlled conditions between 60°F and 80°F, away from direct sun, high humidity, and heat sources. Preserved botanicals need no routine care, and two optional plans keep an installation at its best. The Nordblooms Care Plan covers periodic dusting visits, quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly, and repairs after accidental damage. The Nordblooms Renew Plan replaces each installation as it reaches the end of its lifespan, on a schedule you choose across a multi-year agreement, for example florals refreshed each season.
