Why preserved

A considered answer to a practical brief.

A spa sells calm, and nothing undermines it faster than a wilting arrangement, a visiting plant-service crew, or a plastic plant. Fresh flowers need constant replacing, live plants need care in rooms guests expect to be quiet, and faux greenery reads as artificial in a space meant to feel natural. Preserved botanicals keep the atmosphere intact: real plants and flowers that hold their natural look for years with no watering, irrigation, or routine care, soil-free and sustainable.

02 — Spa delivery

Installed without disturbing the calm.

Nordblooms works with spa owners, operators, hospitality designers, architects, and project managers. We coordinate the botanical layer around treatment schedules, finishes, lighting, and the realities of an operating spa. A single Nordblooms team designs, builds, and installs, whether the work is made in our SoHo studio or directly on site, giving your project one point of contact from the first site visit through completion.

  1. 01

    Review the spa

We review plans, guest routes, sightlines, treatment zones, and the spaces where botanical impact matters most.

  2. 02

    Coordinate with the concept

We develop the botanical scope alongside furniture, millwork, lighting, finishes, and the wider spa concept.

  3. 03

    Plan around operations

We assess delivery access, construction turnover, treatment schedules, and suitable installation timing, including quiet hours where needed, with the relevant project partners.

  4. 04

    Deliver a lasting result

Preserved botanicals need no watering or routine care, so the space looks finished on day one and stays that way without watering visits or a plant-service contract to manage.

Spa project questions

For the spa team.

These questions address spa and wellness project planning. Detailed material, care, and sizing information belongs on the relevant product pages.

Can preserved botanicals be used in humid spa environments?

Preserved botanicals need no watering, irrigation, or sunlight. Sustained humidity can affect any preserved material, so Nordblooms will advise on appropriate placement, including steam, moisture, and other project-specific site conditions.

Can installation be completed around treatment schedules?

Yes. Scheduling is assessed around access, occupancy, treatment schedules, project scope, and installation requirements, and coordinated early with the relevant project partners.

Can planters and trees soften a treatment corridor?

Yes. Used strategically, trees and planters can create visual separation, soften long corridors, and add a quiet natural rhythm without crowding the space.

What do you need for a preliminary budget?

Send a floor plan or rendering, spa location, target date, approximate dimensions, intended spaces, and inspiration images.

How long will the installation last, and what ongoing service is available?

Florals last one to three years, planters up to three years, trees up to five years, and green walls five to ten years, when kept indoors in suitable conditions. Preserved botanicals need no routine care, and two optional plans keep an installation at its best. The Nordblooms Care Plan covers periodic dusting visits, quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly, and repairs after accidental damage. The Nordblooms Renew Plan replaces each installation as it reaches the end of its lifespan, on a schedule you choose across a multi-year agreement, for example florals every year and planters every three years.
